The 13th Annual Conference “Sex Offender Management in the 21st Century: Seeking Balance in an Age of Reaction,” came to an end on the afternoon of May 14, 2008.  The weather in Saratoga was beautiful and the conference presenters and workshop leaders all did a magnificent job presenting key issues that all of us in the field of sex offender management are dealing with today. Over 350 professionals attended the three day program, making it the most successful conference in our short history.

The Board of Directors of the NYSATSA and Alliance would like to thank everyone that attended the Conference and those who were willing to put in extra effort to prepare presentations at the individual workshops. Special thanks are in order for the Conference Planning Committee and the Welcoming and Keynote speakers.  They all planned and worked diligently to provide a state of the art conference for all those in attendance.  The Board of Directors is already making plans for the 14th Annual Conference to be held in the Niagara Falls area in May 2009.  If anyone would like to participate in next year’s conference planning or has questions about future conferences, please feel free to contact us.  We hope to see everyone in Niagara Falls in 2009.
