CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

We are now accepting Presentation Proposals that focus on
services and practices that are innovative and creative.

 The 2008 Annual Conference, hosted by New York State Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (NYSATSA) and the New York State Alliance of Sex Offender Service Providers (NYSASOSP), is being held in Upstate New York’s Saratoga Springs. This year’s theme is: "Sex Offender Management Services In The Twenty-First Century:  Seeking Balance In An Age Of Reaction.” The NYSATSA/NYSASOSP Conference provides an occasion for participants to examine services involving shared leadership and resources, as well as programs and practices that influence emerging best practices.  The Conference enables attendees to interact with other leaders, to network and to collaborate.  We are certain that all will benefit from this opportunity to share, learn, and strategize with others dedicated to improving sex offender management services in New York State.

Proposal Guidelines

• Presentation Title: 12 Words or Less
• Workshop Demographic:  Adults, Adolescents, Combined
• Workshop Level:  Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Include a 250-Word Maximum Narrative, and
• A 75 Word-Summary, Indicating at Least Two Goals / Objectives

Cost of Attendance

Attendees are responsible for their Conference registration, transportation and accommodation costs.  Presenters receive one FREE registration to the conference.  The cost for registration, travel suggestions and accommodations, other than the Saratoga Holiday Inn listed below, will be included in the second announcement.
