The purpose of this project was to develop a new approach to enhance community safety in the Capital District of New York State (Albany, Columbia, Saratoga, Schenectady and Rensselaer Counties). The Federal Government awarded this grant through the Office of Justice Programs within the U.S. Department of Justice, to promote the regional development of a multi-disciplinary team to improve the investigation, prosecution, supervision and treatment of sex offenders.

Mission: To improve community safety by creating a collaborative and cohesive multi-disciplinary system for enhancing the investigation, prosecution, supervision, and treatment of sex offenders, by holding perpetrators accountable, and by supporting efforts to prevent sexual violence.
