Robin M. Colello, MS, CAGS

Robin Colello has been working with children, families and adults affected by sexual violence for over 15 years. Robin provides counseling and assessment for both victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse. Robin is a clinical member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers. Robin holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from Northeastern University. She also has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology. Robin has received continued post graduate training in the field of sexual aggression since 1999.

She is the Director of Insights Forensic Counseling, Inc. in Watertown N.Y. She also serves as the Sexual Offender Treatment Specialist and Consultant for the Jefferson County Probation Department. Robin has been the appointed Mental Health Representative for the Jefferson County Child Advocacy Center and a member of the CAC Board of Directors since 2007.

Robin has presented numerous trainings across the northeast regarding treatment and supervision issues of Juvenile Sexual Offenders. She provides training and consultation to foster parent agencies, community service agencies, law enforcement and school districts across New York State regarding psychological trauma, sexual aggression and safety planning with youth and adults.

Currently, Robin is coordinating and implementing research studies regarding youth who commit sexual violence with Rockwood Psychological Services in Kingston, Ontario Canada under the direction of Liam Marshall PhD. and William L. Marshall, PhD.
