Choice/ACT Program Director

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker, licensed in New York State, where I have worked since 1988.  I work at Family Service Society, Inc., a private, non-profit counseling agency where I am the Choice Program Director.  The Choice Program is a specialized sexual abuse treatment program that provides treatment for children who have been sexually abused, their family members, and adolescent and adult sex offenders.  I am also the ACT Program Director and the ACT Program provides psycho educational services to men who are domestically violent to their partners.

I have specialized in the assessment and treatment of adolescent and adult sex offenders since 1989 and provide clinical supervision to program therapists who provide treatment for the victims and families.

The Choice Program’s sex offender treatment program is a comprehensive, structured sex offender program that includes the use of the Abel Assessment for Sexual Interest and the polygraph.  My experience includes consultation with other counties/agencies to help them develop treatment programs and multi-disciplinary teams that focus on the investigation of sexual abuse.

I am a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and a Certified Clinical Criminal Justice Specialist (CCCJS) under the National Association of Forensic Counselors.
